Enigma is CKC Car of the year

The Complete KitCar magazine has awarded the Enigma their Car of the year award.

A comprehensive review of the car in their January edition includes numerous glowing comments such “The ride was a brilliant balance of composure and comfort, while the grip level was extremely high and the suspension control beyond reproach… and all delivered without a single rattle or creak from anywhere on the car”

Also there was Roy Wood, picking Malcolm’s brain for details for his MK3 build.

The silver car is a V8 softtop and the red one a 2 litre electric hard top

Involuntary Crash Test

Kevin Roots, who as owener of Healy Cars USA is the distributor for the Enigma in the USA and Canada, had the misfortune of a head-on crash when a woman drove into his car at speed.

This made rather a mess of Kevin’s nice new left hand drive Enigma but the good news for us is that Kevin is alright and the Enigma stood up to the impact extremely well.

The suspension on one side took the worst of it requiring the sourcing of some new components but the chassis is still perfectly straight.

With a new front body section sent out from the factory, the car should be back on the road and doing the round of shows pretty soon.
