If you read my post in the “Please introduce yourself” section, you will know that the build is nearly finished but that the car was in Manchester for painting. The good news is that it has now been painted. Lockdown has not been kind and its taken 5 months, but at least it is ready for collection. The bad news is that Manchester is in tier 3 and Dorset is in tier 2. Entering a tier 3 area for anything non essential is frowned upon, but it is for business purposes so Im undecided whether its allowed or not. Ill keep you informed of progress.
After taking advice I went up to Manchester and got the car. Its now back in Dorset and looking good.
Now its just removing the airbags, fixing a niggly electrical fault, fitting the lights, sorting out the plates in the engine bay, getting the geometry sorted and a couple of other bits and pieces. It will then be ready for IVA. I wonder how long Ill have to wait for that.
